Sour Death Balls” is a short movie showing kids and adults trying to keep a hunk of sour candy in their mouths as long as possible. Cute idea and nicely executed. via lumen eclipse
Nicely done!
Compare it to the original after the jump. (more…)
Lord of the Rings really really short edition. This is pretty old, but worth a repost for those who haven’t seen it.

The shark bit is pure comedy genius. You can find the high res version of the trailer over at Apple trailers.
Brace yourself.
“A CG-animated comedy about a lazy, irreverent slacker panda, Po (Voiced by Jack Black), who must somehow become a Kung Fu Master in order to save the Valley of Peace from a villainous snow leopard, Tai Lung. Set in the legendary world of ancient China, this is the story of Po, our unlikely hero, who enters the rigid world of Kung Fu and turning it upside down. Po ultimately becomes a Kung Fu hero by learning that if he believes in himself, he can do anything”
The youtube vid is posted here for your convenience, but you can also find the HD version over at apple trailers.
If you didn’t get enough of the new Enterprise in our previous post, there’s a new trailer up with a few more glimpses of the famous ship “under construction”.
Looks like a fun movie even if you can’t stand Colin Farrell…
“In Bruges was filmed on location; Bruges (pronounced “broozh”), the most well-preserved medieval city in the whole of Belgium, is a welcoming destination for travellers from all over the world. But for hit men Ray (Colin Farrell) and Ken (Brendan Gleeson), it could be their final destination; a difficult job has resulted in the pair being ordered right before Christmas by their London boss Harry (two-time Academy Award nominee Ralph Fiennes) to go and cool their heels in the storybook Flemish city for a couple of weeks.” Read the full premise at youtube.
Persepolis is an animated movie adaptation of a graphic novel. Check out the trailer here and read an interview with the woman behind Persepolis here.
LOS ANGELES, California (AP) — The subtitle for Marjane Satrapi’s highly personal animated film “Persepolis” might as well be “Iranians: They’re Just Like Us.” They lose their keys, dance to “Eye of the Tiger,” endure rocky relationships.
Will Smith as a homeless super hero. Pretty low FX budget on this flick judging by the trailer.
See the trailer over at apple.
Think you’re seeing enough of the movie when you watch on your tiny cell phone? David Lynch doesn’t f*cking think so.
